Default FAST 92 intake

i just got a 98 camaro ss with 99 injectors and 99 cam. it has tsp true duals and pacesetter long tube headers and a yank ss3600. i have a fast 92 that i bought awhile back because it was a deal. i want more power like everyone else but would that intake be too big for pretty much stock? i dont have a 92mm throttle body yet so i would still have to get one and i know that i would have to get a tune but im also worried about the injectors not being enough with that much air coming in. any input would be great because im getting a tune either way next week so i figure why not get it all tuned at once if im gunna put that intake on anyway. thanks Ty.

I would have put the intake on yesterday. Injectors should be fine with bolt on's.

your current injectors will work.is seems when you approach the 420 hp level there is a need for better injectors.consider a mail order tune by frost ,it would alot cheaper.look at a cam swap and make that tuning worth while.

Have you tuned the car for the injector swap yet? If not you're probably running dangerously lean as is. The '98's use 28lb injectors and '99's use 26lb injectors. Not a whole lot of difference, but enough to make you run fairly lean at WOT.

Get that fixed asap. Even though they are 26lber's, you should have enough injector for bolt ons.

This is very true, swap back to your stock injector immediatly if you havent copied and pasted all the injector tables in your tune. Then get the FAST on there, itll make a huge difference!

I don't have stock injectors to put back in that's why I have the 99s. I'm getting a street tune hopefully Wednesday.

Whoever is doing the tune, before they touch ANYTHING. Have them find a stock 99 tune and transfer all the injector data tables. If they cant or wont, dont let them touch your car.
