Yeah around here its mustangs but the bigger problem is ricers. And not the ones who actually have power worth talkin about just the ones who put a wing and a fart can on their car add a few stickers on the windshield and think they have a drag car

Yeah I here ya there. My buddy has an 02 z28 6 sp all he had was a 4.10 and had a 100 shot for a couple races and was beating 347 strokers that supposedly "couldnt" be beat around here haha. It was great listening to the excuses fly around. They all swore up and down he had to have a built 383. It was a joke. It just shows how much people know about an ls motor around here

I remember when the new gts cane out last year or whenever it was there was a magazine with one on the cover and it was title ls1 killer. I just laughed and said congrats Ford on still trying to beat a motor GM had out in 1997 hahaha

And whats sad is they still cant lol i can speak from first hand experince my z28 is stock with the exception of the slp flo pac and the stb. So i might have 10-15 rwhp over stock. Theres a 1/8 here in the town i live in and i raced a 2013 mustang gt this past weekend and beat hom by half a length. His was a 6spd95 and my camaro is an a/4 now in a 1/4 no doubt he would beat me but its sad its taken 16 years to be able to do a half *** job lol

And they're proud of it too lol. The 98-02 fbodys are so underrated and unappreciated. They get no respect around here. People are clueless to what they're capable of and how easy it is to get big power out of one

Oh for sure. And how much punishment they can take as well i picked up a 98 trans am last year. Had 199,xxx miles on it had leaks from everywhere you could immagine and never missed a beat. I drove it for 8 months 100 plus miles for work 6 days a week.. only reason i dont have it now is i hit a deer and couldnt afford to fix the front end so i drove it for about 2 months like that then drove it about 150 miles to the shop i sold it to for parts. And i was runnin that thing at the track about every other week and stompin the same cars that my camaro with a new motor in it does

Yeah cant help you on that but i would deff try and find some references of former customers when it comes to tuning. Thats your foundation for how the car is gonna perform in the end. You can dump 100 grand into a car and have a shitty tune and its wasted money
