Default Anyone using Carsound cats?

I have a set of Carsound cats and I went to get them installed and the guy said that the drivers side cat would hang down too low. I did a search and I can't find any pics of anyones set up that has Carsounds with an off road y-pipe or true duels. If you have a pic of your set up please post it. Thanks!

I've got 94109's. With the Kook's LT tucking up so close to the drivers side floorboard and 3" tubing, the cat couldn't go right after the header without hitting the reinforcement there. It went downstream after the turn in to the Y and it does hang kind of low. Its the lowest point on my car (non lowered), and I measured about 4 inches of ground clearance. Sorry, no pics, though.

That is the problem that I am facing. How long have you had your cats installed. Someone told me having the cats that far away makes them break up relatively soon.

Are both of you guys running true duels? The 94106's are 2.5" and the 94109's are 3". I have to go with the 3" because of my y-pipe diameter.

i had a 2.5" Y pipe with 3" collector flanges for the headers and a flowmaster 2.5" inlet / 3" outlet merge collector.

I've had them on for a couple of weeks. I was worried about the cats not heating up and functioning properly, but the SES light went away (didn't have extensions, so I drove it home with O2s disconnected and threw a code), which tells me they are working correctly. Other companies put it there, too. QTP puts it there, so I thought about calling them about any problems they have had. But that wouldn't have made any difference anyway because I didn't really have an option on the mounting of the cat.

As far as the longevity is concerned, I still have the AIR, so that helps them heat up quicker. If mounting the drivers side cat a little further shortens the life, I don't think it would be by any significant amount.

That is what I needed. Thanks for the pics. I am going to try to get someone to build a y-pipe like yours. How did yours? Or did you buy it from some one already built?

actually mufflex used my car to make the proto-type for the hooker/jet hot headers.
i'm selling the y pipe now with cats if you are interested, although shipping will be a pain.

I am interested if they will work with Pacesetters. What would be the price if they work?
