I've done it. Prep is key, got to get the channels clean
and rough. I did the JB-Weld in two stages. First was
just a thin layer painted over the walls and foil dams
I made to keep the glue from traveling; second was for
the fill. Overnight 200F bake in between steps.
Now the coolent boss, I just cut off entirely with a
hacksaw to give more room for the bypass tube.
The PCV nipple can be removed easily, put a #2
Philips up it and twist it back & forth to draw it out.
