Default New Lid and having issues!!!!

Just picked up a used PPO Stealth Air box system for $40. I know not many people have used these and the search got me no where.

Issue I'm having is that it doesnt fit...at all. the Lid itself is about 1.5 times larger than OG and it uses a huge Z06 K&N filter
The part number says that it fits LS1 trans am 1998-2002..I have a 99'

With the bottom of the air box bolted down to the existing hole, and the 2"rubber adapter to connect LID to MAF... the MAF is so close to the Throttle body, it is literally on top of it...theres no room for a smooth bellow or even stock accordion bellow from MAF to the Throttle body.

Has anyone heard anything about the PPO Stealth Box and its fitment on a non WS6 car? I was really excited to get this on and after about an hour and 40 mins I'm here calling for your help...any ideas please

Yeah i know a few have but they are near extinct by now lol.
thanks , the guy selling his the only difference is that his front coupler(one attached to lid itself) looks like its cut on an angle mine is straight both sides
So maybe ill slice my coupler up some, to get the angle of the dangle corrected

So i went out and bought a few different Fernco "smooth bellows" to cut and try and make the system fit...better but still not fitting. Also if I do get it all to fit....is there any issues moving the MAF closer to the throttle body?

Post some pics so we can see what you're working with. You may need to get a 22 or 30 degree silicone bellow and cut it to fit.

Sorry its been a while to get these pics up, been working non-stop. Anyways here's a pic of the stock setup with MAf and all included....and then a pic of the PPO Stealth in which there is about 3.25-3.5 inches from the lid to the throttle body....no MAF of bellow included....
I've bought so much rubber couplers cutting and trying to make this even get close to fitting no luck.

I'd shave the neck of the lid back as much as needed, if that is indeed hard plastic I'm seeing and not a bellow. Remember that things old... long before the time of the "one size fits all." Modification may be required.

did he have an sd tune on his car? if so that might account for the fact it fit his and not yours.

just remove what's needed to make it work. keep it simple..

I wish, the output of the lid isnt round, its an oblong oval so it needs to have the small 1.5 inch(was 2.5 inch but i trimmed it down as much as i could) adapter to the MAF
