If you're gonna want to take it on and off, you'd better use band clamps, the ones that come with the exhaust crimp and usually have to be cut off, but sometimes a BFH will work.

here's what I used.

Ok i cut at the slip on and slip the TDs over the collector then clamp? Or are the duals made to slip inside the collector?

The duals are meant to slide over 3" pipe. So if your collector is 3" which it probably is. It should just slip on and clamp up. But like they mentioned you should get 6 lap joint band clamps and use those inside of those garbage u-clamps that come with the kit

I've been wanting to do TDs. Post some pics when you're done. I've spent the last 3 weeks and bought 4 exhaust set ups trying to find the sound I want. I'm thinking TSP TDs with borla xr1s

Installed my TSP duals on Friday. Like everyone else, I will NEVER EVER EVER go back to a Y pipe. Ever.

The TDs are made to slip over the collector. If you cut too much off you may need to have some kind of flange added as there may not be enough room to get the band clamp on all the way.

Oh ok then. I'll be fine if I cut right at the end of the collector. If I remember right I slid the ORY inside my collector and welded it.

Nevermind. It's over I'll Widen the duals and slide it over the collector again haha.

Depends on how long you're willing to spend under the car, honestly. Fitment can be BETTER than a Y set up if you're willing to invest the time and effort.

Soo.. Cake before dinner..
It didn't fit and I cut my Exhuast off. Looks like I'll be running open headers and ordering tsp 1 7/8 and NEVER NEVER NEVER letting anyone weld them. Selling my old pacesetters with the ypipe welded. Hope to god the duals line up. if not sell them and buy them brand new from tsp, sell my magnaflow catback and blackwing lid to recoup some money.

Sound like a plan?

Hey it happens. Open headers=nobody will **** with you
But just beware... Anything will be quiet after a week of open headers

I had a new camaro ss jump off the line beside me the other day in town. I'm not going to race is the city at 45mph zones. Anyways the next red sign he thru a rev my way. So I sent him one back... He didn't accelerate that fast off that next light lol

(cool story bro...i know....)
