Ls1 wont start

Ls1 wont start I have a 2002 camaro ss with 80,000 miles it just started doing it i go to start i turn key all the way over but does nothing radio comes on but wont give power to starter i have to turn key 8-10 times to get it to finally send power to it and start. Can't be low battery because it starts right up when it goes through. Idk if theres a bad connection some where or beds a new ignition or what? Please help:bang
Vats sounds like your vats either get a new key which will have a resistor chip and get it cut if that dosent work by pass the vats
