Default Ls1 wont start

I have a 2002 camaro ss with 80,000 miles it just started doing it i go to start i turn key all the way over but does nothing radio comes on but wont give power to starter i have to turn key 8-10 times to get it to finally send power to it and start. Can't be low battery because it starts right up when it goes through. Idk if theres a bad connection some where or beds a new ignition or what? Please help:bang

do you hear the starter soleniod click? and the security light is not on while you try to start the car, right?

ill check that no there is no sound just seems there is no connection then after i try for awhile it will just start right up when it makes connection the starter doesnt make a sound or solenoid.

sounds like your vats either get a new key which will have a resistor chip and get it cut if that dosent work by pass the vats
