^^^ yes you need to put on the button head valley cover bolts with either LS1 or LS6 valley cover... If you dnt you run risk of damaging that Beautiful intake you have there.

Not only will it possibly damage the intake, but it most likely wont seat onto the heads either. You MUST get the valley cover bolts.

FYI, If you used the supplied intake mount bolts check to see if the bolts have loosened up I used blue loctite and torqued all the mount bolts to spec, and in the correct sequence and I've already had them loosen up twice!
I'm swapping out the supplied FAST hardware today for the factory intake mount bolts.

Wow...No offense, but this shows money is better spent on a cam or ported heads...You didnt really gain anything with the $1200 investment.

^I believe if he already had H/C, the gains would be much more significant. If he plans on going that route down the road, it is a step in the right direction. OP hows the butt dyno feel?

Still got EGR, did you atleast cut that part off that hangs down behind the TB? Need to get a bigger maf and lid too, to really see the gain from that I think.

Do you have a ram air either? FTRA, SSRA, Chris11313 ram air? Im sure your IATs, like mine, are sky high.

- As for the butt dyno its is a little quicker going from around 80/100 KPH and up it really shows . As for future upgrades for next season I think I`m going to either go with a TSP 224R@112 LSA or 228 not sure yet and heads later down the road .

- Yes the EGR tube was modified earlier , maybe down the road I`ll upgrade to a bigger MAF & Lid .
- No I don`t have any type of '' RAM AIR '' setup I was always worried about ever hydrolocking the engine , on the otherhand the Firehawk hood is different from the WS6 , the Hawk`s hood somewhat go`s strait through not up and over like the WS6 .
Thanks .

IMO, the FAST will pay for itself with future H/C upgrades.

Got ya, I was just looking for anything that might help your numbers, but it gives you plenty of room to grow. Like others said, after a cam itll really shine! Looks sexy by the way, love the black!

I agree,

But I was just stating, A cam or heads would have paid better dividends. I would have done that before an intake.

Default more questions

Hello,

Is there a company that sells everything to change to a fast 92 for a 2000 ws6?

Is this 100% of everything I need to change my stock intake and throttle body to a 102 setup:

Fast intake
Nick Williams TB
Gaskets (do they come in the fast intake manifold kit?)
hardware for valley cover (does this come with kit?)
Do I have to mess with the coolant lines under the manifold?
The vacuum tube on the back goes to the brake booster correct?
Is there any vacuum lines that I will need to replace going from the stock TB to the new one?

Thanks
