From a vendor standpoint; A phone call or e-mail would be appreciated to make them aware of the mistake so that the proper steps could be taken to correct inventory. More than likely, you would be able to keep them as it would be quite costly on the vendor to "correct" the mistake as far as shipping costs go.
It's up to you, but I feel this would be the right thing to do.

If you're interested in peak HP then they're good. Bigger isn't always better and on a less than 500 HP you'll be losing below peak. I shake my head every time I hear "flow" like putting on the biggest pipe is always the best thing. Below peak in a large pipe velocity gets lazier and it's that velocity that makes a header work. A lot of people should do some reading of exhaust theory that isn't on a forum.

yea the price on the 1 3/4 went up after i bought them. so the 1 7/8 are cheaper now, but if they will flow better then i think i will keep them and not say anything based on the previous replies, would there be anything negative for having these like the sound or anything

I would call them and let them know, what are they going to do? Send armed forces to your house to steal them back and drop some 3/4's on your door step on the way out?
Glad you said it so I didn't have to
BULL
****.
That's exactly what I'm so sick of hearing. The #'s don't lie. The only, and I mean ONLY graphs I've ever seen with a loss were from a C5. And that's more due to primary length than anything else.
Is this where the conversation get's turned into "Is the FAST 102 too big for stock cubes?"

Its not gonna be a big deal... shoot them an email and let them know so they can correct the inventory, but they arent going to FORCE you to send them back. It was their mistake.
But yes, KEEP THEM!

DEFINETLY KEEP EM. consider it an early christmas gift... 1 7/8 over 1 3/4 all day every day on the LS1.
I agree with being a good person and all but this is a multi million dolllar company. like they'll miss a few dollars and make a stink over it. for all you know the shipping supervisor pissed an employee off and gave them a big f$%^ you and sent you something better.... just sayin...

Before you call measure them properly. Using a tape measure will give you a false measure.
I thought I got 1 3/4 from ARH but had ordered 1 7/8. ARH tech explained how to meaure them - they were actually 1 7/8 after measuring them with the right tool.
