From a vendor standpoint; A phone call or e-mail would be appreciated to make them aware of the mistake so that the proper steps could be taken to correct inventory. More than likely, you would be able to keep them as it would be quite costly on the vendor to "correct" the mistake as far as shipping costs go.

It's up to you, but I feel this would be the right thing to do.

This.

I agree, if there isn't a huge price difference let them know so someone else doesn't get screwed the other way around. Good karma.

If they insist on swapping them, make them pay for your time, packing materials, and all shipping costs.

Please tell us your not saying that 1 3/4 will make more power!

Don't be a douche. Contact them and tell them the issue, so at the very least they know. For instance, I bought a cam from a vendor recently (and pushrods) and was also sent the springs/hardware. I instantly emailed him and he said his secretary accidentally put in the order and fucked up. I sent them back on my own dime. It's just the right thing to do.

I would call them and let them know, what are they going to do? Send armed forces to your house to steal them back and drop some 3/4's on your door step on the way out?

Is this where the conversation get's turned into "Is the FAST 102 too big for stock cubes?"
Glad you said it so I didn't have to

Its not gonna be a big deal... shoot them an email and let them know so they can correct the inventory, but they arent going to FORCE you to send them back. It was their mistake.

But yes, KEEP THEM!

DEFINETLY KEEP EM. consider it an early christmas gift... 1 7/8 over 1 3/4 all day every day on the LS1.

I agree with being a good person and all but this is a multi million dolllar company. like they'll miss a few dollars and make a stink over it. for all you know the shipping supervisor pissed an employee off and gave them a big f$%^ you and sent you something better.... just sayin...

No.. I don't care what your "theory" calls for.. Real world data shows even in a bone stock 346, the 1 7/8s will make more power than the 1 3/4 (throughout the band on average and peak).

I like how were told to " read up on exhaust THEORY" and ignore proven results.

I'd like to see some 0-60 ,1/4 mile results comparing the 1 7/8 vs. 1 3/4 on a somewhat stock car.Has anyone tested these out before.

Before you call measure them properly. Using a tape measure will give you a false measure.

I thought I got 1 3/4 from ARH but had ordered 1 7/8. ARH tech explained how to meaure them - they were actually 1 7/8 after measuring them with the right tool.

I would pair the invoice with the part number on the box (if it has one). If their numbers match I wouldn't even call since inventory won't be affected.

If they don't I would call.
