Default Dual inlet truck fuel rails

For the sake of simplification and possible cost savings, I would like to either block off one of the inlets or swap to a later model returnless truck system with one -6an fitting. What are my options.

Swap to a returnless system. Its easier to plug the return line but I would be afraid of a fuel leak.

I hear you bro. Hopefully others chime in. If not I guess I will be going to an '05+ truck fuel rail.
