Default Intake swap questions

Ok so Im swapping to a FAST 92 as my LS6 intake rear vac port broke off on the weekend. I have a few questions about swapping it over.

1 will the stock bolts from the LS6 work with the Fast intake?

2 what is the torque specs for the fast intake to be bolted down

3 is there anything to look out for while installing it

Thanks Guys

1) yes
2) same as stock
3) you will need the button head valley cover bolts. If you bought the 92 New then you should have them.
4) if you dnt have the LS6 coolant lines you will need them now.

^^^ yes that line... You dnt want the LS1 line that goes under the intake.

And even if u get a LS6 valley cover you still need the button head bolts.

I bought a set of those bolts you are talking about from another Tech member this morning. I just hope all the parts show up by next week. Cool man thanks for all the info

I don't know what you plan on doing with the ls6 intake but you can remove the vacuum port & plug it with a freeze plug. It is 1 31/32" which I sourced out to a Dorman 555-042. Just use some 3m weatherstrip adheasive & push it in. Also, I am in the middle of a ls6 intake swap from a truck intake & am trying to get someone to make a plug that will take the stock o'ring & accept the map sensor. I need to pm a few people to see what will come of it. If all else fails there is a machine shop around the corner that can do the job. I just don't want to have to pay for several prototypes if I don't have to.
