I have everything but the mufflers ordered. If 5x8 mufflers will fit I want to run them.

My goal is straight through but as quiet as possible. This car is too loud for where I live.

You'll probably have rotate them for them to fit up in the channels on the L&R of the trunk stump. You might also consider checking to see if a 6" round muffler will fit good on each side, a 5" round shouldn't be a problem.

That top pic is Kooks one their of early cars.The Kooks muffler is 7 1/2 X 12. If you use a oval case 7 1/2 you can turn it horizonal and they tuck up high and tight. Dont know why Kooks didnt do this on this car! I dont think they use this muffler in their package now. The bottom pic is one of the better custom TD OTA I have seen nice job.
