Mine did the same... I only lost about 1 mpg before the tune.. It just got a nitrous tune last night so I haven't got to see any fuel mileage yet

Why better spark plug i only going to shoot 100 hp! Is no need for a coulder plugs for that amount of NOS even i know i can keep the tr55 with 100 hp of n2o.

and your car feel a little slower on gas with them?

I like to know why this is happening with coulder plugs. The amount of fuel the factory tune use is the same with both spark plus. Why the heat range play can a so big deference in MPG???
TR6 should burn the fuel as good as the factory heat range i yhink.

A colder plug should have no direct effect on performance or gas mileage as long as the plug is "hot" enough to not foul under the specific operating conditions. For example, a colder plug may not foul during highway speeds or full throttle but could be too cold to withstand low speed operation or extended idling. Colder plugs can, of course, indirectly effect performance to the extent they permit improved tuning parameters, such as more timing advance, as compared with hotter plugs under the same circumstances.

Simply swapping to a slightly colder plug should not be yielding the ill effects your claiming. Ive ran colder plugs than the TR6 in stock cars with next to no changes in performance or mileage while simply running around all motor, so it seems odd your claiming to have a drastic drop in mileage and performance from a simple plug swap.

I only noticed a performance loss because of my nitrous tune and it still wasn't too bad

Playing with fire with thinking you can leave TR55 in that motor and be OK. While you might be able to get away with TR6 plugs in the car with a 100 shot BR series would ultimately be a better choice for you. Think of it this way, would you rather have a large safety net to fall onto or a small one to fall into.
