Does anyone with WS6 use the BG Ram Air setup?

I think you'll have to raise the airbox if it will work with an aftermarket ws6 hood. Go to the link i posted above and ask the guy himself.

If you go to Brian Greene's site that "2001 White Ws6" put in you can read what I gained after I installed the BG Ram Air after I got back from Korea. I love it and if I bought another WS6 that would be the first mod that I would do.

Razor,
It will only work on a WS6 hood from the factory. It will not work on any other after market hood.

This is correct.

I also agree. BG Ram Air is a must for a factory WS6 hood. I'd buy it again in a heart beat. Had mine 3+ years and it still looks like new.

Have you needed to buy any new gaskets? I've bought one cuz the first one wore through pretty quickly. It came dislodged from the bracket that snaps into place on the back of the hood opening.

I had to get a new one. It was because while I was deployed to Iraq my dad kept the WS6 for me. I never told him to put some vegtable oil on it after he opened it and closed it several times. It wasn't that bad, and it still worked but I just wanted a new one. The gasket before I had for a while and never had any problems with it.

LS1Speed has it. Go to the Induction section.

The rain will still have to travel through the screen, thats if you keep them on, then it would have to be sucked through the filter. It won't happen unless you drive through a huge *** puddle or through a wall of water. It will have a hard time defying gravity for it to get through the filter.

Just put mine on last night. Man it is a great fit and wasn't that hard to install. I had drill out the baffles a couple of days ago, so the install was shortened. The awkward position wasn't so bad, it was the fact that I kept dropping screws and then I'd have to stop and get them with a pair of needle nose pliers. (Wish I had a magnetic screwdriver

) Anyways I then went to the track, but it was so windy that everbody was going slower than normal so I will be back there next Wed and I will definitely post my improvements. I also recommend it completely.
