I've had mine for almost a year now. It's a bitch to install but it's a great design and works well. If you drive a ws6 then you better get the BG Ram Air.

Installed mine a few weeks ago. Seems to work fine. The fit is great (annoying to install...)

Thanks for all the responses. You guys say it's annoying to install, what's the problem(s)?

I ordered mine last week and it still hasn't arrived. I CAN'T WAIT. I think the annoyinh part of the install is drilling out the baffles because from what I've heard it's pretty straight forward. Good luck and let me know how it goes because I will installing mine the day it gets here.

I installed my BGRA last November. It took me an hour to install. It makes a big difference once the car goes faster.

Well to make it very easy to install the BGRA you can remove your entire hood and it'll be a cakewalk. That's too much to do so no one would do it that way.

The reason why it's a PIA to install is the awkward position you have to be in to install it entire time. If you are a small guy then it shouldn't be too much trouble. Other then that it's pretty straight forward.

I've considered this kit as well but I'm curious what gain the entire kit has over just having removed the baffles myself. I realize the air still isn't being strictly directed into the intake.

Does the inch gap being sealed make that much of a difference? Enough to warrent a $200+ pricetag?

If you don't have the hood sealed to the airbox then you'll have a shitload of turbulence and wasted air exiting around the airbox.

With the airbox being sealed to the hood you have a straight shot of air right into the airbox. Much more efficient.

This is the first I have heard about this kit. So it involves removing the baffles in the hood? Wouldn't this be risky driving in the rain? Sealing the box to the hood sounds liek a great idea, but can someone clarify about the baffles?

I've driven in downpours without the rain deflector plate in. Hell i haven't even used the rain plate since i've had it. I wash the car with it out and still no problems. You won't encounter a problem unless you are driving through a solid wall of water or a very big puddle and washes on in the hood.

There are the front and back baffles on each nostril opening. Take them both out.

Does anyone know if this kit will work on an aftermarket WS6 hood?

If so, I am sold.

Regards, Ray
