Default tsp after install questions

hey fellows i have some questions regarding an install i just did, after the installation of the tsp true dual system i noticed a very rich gasoline smell while its on idling, and upon running the car felt like it didnt have any *****. i fucked up though before the initiall start up, i didnt connect one side of the coil pack connections meaning only four coils were working. as soon as inoticed this i turned off the car and connected them back. also could this have something to do with the deletion of air and egr systems. does anybody have an idea what may be the problem

I'm no expert but I've heard more than once about guys experiencing of a loss of torque at times with certain applications when a less restrictive exhaust is implemented offering less back pressure to the exhaust ports.

i did this installation together with the 1 7/8 headers hoping this would bring out more power as opposed to stock. ill test out again this weekend coming up.

bigger exhaust loses bottom end power as far as the gas smell my car smelled worse after the dumped true duals if you had exhaust ran all the way back the smell would be less noticable you can put cat on the car or if you get it retuned for the headers and exhaust and cut down on the smell some

I can't even smell mine, I gained a ton all throughout the rpm range. Get tuned. It'll make a world of difference.

Bingo! A tune will do wonders.

Also, I'd reset the PCM again being that you started it with only 4 cylinders firing.

Just a thought, but if it is missing at all after running with the one bank of coils disconnected, you may have also fouled a plug. If no miss, please disregard my rambling.
