Default Used condenser a good idea?

Will a used condenser be ok? Or should I just buy a new one. New one is 130 plus tax. Used one is 50 with shipping

Nothing wrong with a used condensor as long as you verify that the ac worked when it was pulled

If you have a way of cleaning out the used condensor and testing it for leaks, then it is fine to use one. If you can't clean it out good, then get a new one. If the old one has **** in it from a bad compressor, it will trash your new/current compressor.

This is what usually happens^^^^^. I'd opt for the new one if the funds are there.

Thanks for all the replies. The used ones are like off of ebay and stuff. Some are guaranteed... but if I had to return it it would be a pain in the booty. I decided that I'm gonna take a loan out from my parents that way I can do everything without being super tight on funds(Las Vegas trip coming up)

The new one is Specter(spelling?) Is that an ok brand?

Thanks again
