Default Look what I caught in my catch can!

What the hell is this stuff? I just finished installing the system, and drove around for about 45 min of "spirited driving" This is what was in the can when I was done. There wasnt very much, and there was no oil. I forgot to take a pic of the filter by the TB, but there was a little yellow gunk caught in it.

Looks like really dirty Antifreeze with some kinda of gunk in it.....
All a catch can is supposed to do is catch coolant when the coolant overflows from the radiator and then it sucks it back up when it needs coolant..

Don't sweat it. I ran my catch can for a few months and when I dumped it out, it looked like old chocolate milk. You're gonna pick up a lot of condensation, mixed with a little oil, and get a nasty mix like that.

Technically, yeah. It would go back into the TB, to be reburned in the cylinders. Almost every car has a setup like that.

When I dump my catch can the **** that comes out is looks just like that, maybe a little thicker. It's basically emulsified oil - water, oil & air all whipped up.
