Buy the ftp new and it will be under warranty. As long as they stand behind it, why not? It's a lid, not a crank.

As long as you bought it new, not used. They will take care of you if there is a defect.

I would recommend the FTP lid. While some have had issues with theirs I've never had an issue with them. Just make sure to not over tighten the clamp when putting everything back together.

Yes we do!

As Aaron from TSP said, it's important to not overtighten the band clamp on the neck. It just needs to be snug.

For SD cars, use the 98mm Air Lid.

The SLP Lids has the same outlet size as the stock lid. The FTP lid has a larger outlet size and larger internal dimensions to support motors that produce more power.

Why do you need to use a 98mm for SD? I haven't put it on yet but I already have a FTP 104mm, will that still work? I am SD tuned.

I'd use the Fast Toys 104 and get the TSP 100mm MAF. No restrictions with that setup and if you have a competent tuner, you can run off the MAF at idle and part throttle and SD WOT and be able to drive with no issues no matter the weather.

Plus the TSP MAF kit comes with the silicone coupler for the 102mm TB, so you'd have a plug and play kit from airbox to TB.

Jake, I take it your silicone coupler was long enough? Mine was probably 1.5 inches too short.
