Assuming the battery holds a charge when you charge it outside of the vehicle, it would be safe to say the alternator is not doing it's job.
I would suggest you remove the alternator and have it tested.
These cars have a plug in the alternator with just one thin wire used. It's easily damaged. If damaged, the alternator won't charge the battery.
