Y pipe for Jet Hot headers

Y pipe for Jet Hot headers

I am wondering if there is another Y pipe out there that will work with Jet hot LT's? Jet hot for some reason does not have a bracket that mounts to the trans crossmember and I want the Y pipe secured to the transmission mount. Hooker has a y pipe that does have the bracket and it looks like it would fit plus I want a cheaper alternative too. Any suggestions? Thanks

from what ive heard jet hot and hookers are very simliar and can use each others y's i have there catted y and it realy isnt going anywhere at all, you could also just weld up a bracket easily

I was wondering the same as to whether the hooker y would work with Jethots. Anyone know for sure?

The ORY I used to run from Jet Hot was just a Hooker ORY that had been Jet Hot Ceramic Coated. It worked great with my JH longtubes.

So it worked ok? I see you went with QTP catted y pipe. How much did you pick up when you went to JH's with the hooker Y? Any track time difference that you wrote down?

it will fit just fine. jet hot's are a copy of hookers anyway. plus, jet hot's ory sucks. comes in like 6 pieces. no need for a transmission bracket with long tubes... everything is rigidly supported by the header bolts.

I'm sure glad I didn't have the jack for the y pipe. I saw pics of it last night and was kind of wierded out by the puzzle of pieces. I'll go with a custom or hooker.
