Default what causes a slow revving motor?

I know the heavy *** flywheel plays a part in it...but what else could cause my slow rev?

when i tap or give the pedal a good rev ...it just seem very slow to go up in the rpms.

I know i cant really compare to my SBC 383 stroker but that puppy reved like a SOB!!!!!

Just from looking at your sig, you don't have any headers on there right now? The stock exhaust manifolds would be chocking your exhaust system for sure. Headers will help it breathe better. I'm assuming you're still running the stock cam and not something so big that it becomes part of the problem. Let the motor breathe. Free up the intake with an LS6 or FAST and long tube headers and maybe even 3:90 or 4:10 gears and that thing will blast off.
