late model engine take outs I have doing some investigating on line for long block and came up with some interesting stuff. Avialable on line are late model engine take outs ( LQ4 and LQ9 ) complete engines from throttle body to oil pan and some with PCM included for around 1,400 bucks. There are all kinds of places that offer this service. I have been seeing rediculous prices on just long blocks so I did some investigation for myself and others. Just go online and type in late model truck relplacement engines for trucks. These engines usually come in at around 70,000 to 90,000 miles just perfect for a refresh and install. Just thought I would fill everyone in of this inexpensive source for rebuildable long blocks. Just be patient and look around a bit and you can overlook these inflated prices just because its an LS style engine. Good luck in your shopping endeavors.
