Getting ready to put on the FAST LSX Intake.

Anyone else have a 102/102, and the bolts for the TB are too long?

I found an extra bag for the intake bolts, so we are good to go on that.

Does anyone have a picture of an 102/102 intake with a stock waterpump, grinded down?

IIRC, many guys run the LS2 waterpump for additional clearance - for FAST 102 setups at least.

I know about the LS2 WP, but I don't have the change right now to drop 3 bills on it.

Thats what I was referring to.

Search google for coupon codes before finishing your order, you can usually find a 5% off code.

Go to Rockauto.com and enter in your car as a 2005/2006 GTO and search for a water pump. You should be able to get an AC Delco pump for around that price.

In order to make the LS6 Valley Plate fit, the block had to be notched right there. Some blocks were made without that, so the swap from an ls1 to an ls6 Valley Plate would've been 300x easier.

Let me tell you a story. Texas Speed makes great headers! They're really awesome! Let me tell you that if you get some, you're getting the best. Now if you want to install them yourself, be prepared. I had to take off the steering linkage. Jack the motor up off the mount, then take the motor mount all the way out. PITA! But I did it in record time of 1 hour, with hand tools. The only casualties are a couple beers to a friend for extra hands, busted knuckles, and a sensor on the side of the head.

It's been a little bit, but much has happened since I last logged on.

The little hose they gave me wouldn't fit on the 102 TB, so I had to go to Home Depot and get some 4' plumbing hose.

All buttoned up, and ready to start.

Finally after 6 months I pulled her out of the garage, and around the neighborhood (open headers and all).

Next things to come, tune, exhaust, and a trap door for the new fuel pump.
