Both would sound great! I really think it depends on how loud he wants it to be all the time or if his car is lowered, possible ground clearance issues. I vote for the Borla with a cutout.

Option A...

Just installed the same thing on mine over the weekend and it sounds badass. It's too loud for a daily driver in my opinion but it's probably the best sounding exhaust I've heard on the f-bodys.

For the most power the duals will be the best bet but will be loud as hell. The borla will still sound badass but will be more tame.

My car is a daily driver and I plan on runnin a true dual set up. Has to be quieter than the y pipe, one bullet dumped set up I used to run

I have the borla with full length headers no cats and ory. Love the sound with fully blocked restrictor plate. I am installing an electric cut out this winter to get the best of both worlds with the flip of a switch. I actually like the sound of duals better BUT duals are tough to get good ground clearance and find room for nice sounding mufflers. Dumped bullets are great for a race car but sound terrible for a street driven car.

If the car is a daily I vote for B if its not, I vote for A.
I have LT with borla exhaust and DMH e-cutout and love it. The setup can go from mild to wild in matters of seconds
