Default Starter Question

Hi all
Prob a dumb question but i want to put a mini starter on a 5.3 im dropping in a s10 project. Does it have to be a LS specific starter or will it interchange with any SBC. prob have a few more dumb questions to post ***** so i can join in on the classifieds LOL

No question is too dumb, from a humble person such as yourself.
A catalogue shows different starters for SBC & LS1.
In any event, you may proceed with increasing your post count!

The LS starter is different. Part number wise, for example, from Powermaster is 9500 for a SBC, and 9510 for an LS. Feel free to pm for any questions!

Ok thanks guys ,will make sure its a LS specific starter . Some say i dont need one for my build but the extra room and a little weight savings cant hurt

Don't think you are going to get much smaller of a starter than a stocker.
