I was at 90% duty cycle w/ 28.8, Racetronix pump and hotwire kit on my H/C/I/E car at 430rwhp. The tuner told me it was fine. Talked to another tuner and he said I need to upgrade.

Found out my clutch was slipping and had bad valve float. I hope to be closer to 450 next time. I was thinking about 36's as I thought 42's would be too big for what I am doing.

I didn't know you could have your stock injectors upgraded.

leave your stock injectors in at first. you have plenty of injector to idle. once you confirm it's running correctly, install the upgraded injectors and let it sit until it gets tuned.

What's the part number for the 97-03 GTP injectors? Is it
0280155811?

Also, are these the same injectors listed as 36lb injectors, but are also 42lb injectors because they flow 42lb at 58psi and 36lb at 43psi? Or are 42lb injectors completely different?

So why are some people saying to get 36lb injectors if they are both the same thing? Why are they differentiating between the 36 and 42lb's like they are different items (I read a few threads)

And also I imagine these are plug and play, with the exception of a tune, am I right?

because they are actually sold as 36# injectors, but due to our higher fuel pressure they are rated at ~42.

they are plug and play as long as you have tune.

*ps, i have some for sale if you are looking.
