Default Gains from 2" Headers?

Guys,

Looking to upgrade the headers on my car. I've been running a set of Dynatech 1 3/4 stainless headers since the car just had bolt ons. I lot has changed since then and I wondered if stepping up to a set of 2" ARH or Kooks would show any gains? I just added a ported Fast 102 and the car seems to have picked up some nice gains. I can easily adjust my dual setup to fit.

Thanks

You'd probably see some decent gains going to a 1 7/8" header, but I don't think you'd see much difference going up to a 2" over the 1 7/8".

2" headers are usually on big cube motors of high boost supercharged motors.

So will 2" headers hurt or be overkill on a ls3 headed lq9 with a lingenfelter gt-11? 215/231 @.050 with .620i .630e on a 118lsa?

I dont think a 2" header is ever overkill. the 1 7/8-2" stepped header is a badass piece as well though

I would expect to see very minimal gains going from 1 7/8 to 2" unless you have a very extreme setup. For what you have listed in your sig I would do 1 7/8".

What kind of gains could I pick up with the Texas Speed 1 7/8 ? I could sell my dynatechs and only be out of pocket a few hundred.
