Need help with headers Hey guys I have the oportunity to pick up a set of mac midlenghts for 150 bucks.... Now it seems like a lot of people think they are great and others say they arent.
Should I pick these up?? also Feel free to tell me our opinion on them. Thanks

I'm going to disagree with Bramlok. I had a set on my '95 TA. The goal for that car was ridiculous power with 100% smog legal parts. Staying smog legal (not just sneaking by, but being fully compliant with the law) with longtubes is pretty much impossible.
I used a set of MAC headers and Y, a Random Technologies high flow cat, and an SLP Loudmouth for the exhaust. 576RWHP.
Unless you're planning a max effort full race engine, I think that for the price, the MAC headers will do you very nicely.

Not looking for anything crazy..The car is my daily and the most it will ever make is about 400whp..Just a simple bolt on car.
Also can anyone point me into a thread about porting the macs and redoing the collectors?
