Default So which catch can?

I`ve done a few searches but I`m still a little unclear on which one to go with. One things for sure, I`m going to add one. I couldn`t believe how much oil was in my intake after only 1,900 miles! I thought I remember hearing about one of the sponsors having a complete kit with hoses and all but can`t seem to find it. Can you help a guy out? Thanks.

Accurate Machine has the can you need. That is the one you heard about. Here is a link.

Agree - AMW catch-can -- there is a trend just below on it - which pictures I believe.

There's several catch cans on the market today, I think you would be wise in getting the AMW catch can. JMO

What other catch cans are there avaliable. And what does it take to make your own. Is it just a can that goes in the PCV line and catches any oil? I'd imagine that would be pretty easy to fab up. Anyone have any diagrams or pictures?

I am going to upgrade the LS1 PCV sytem to the LS6 sytem, which will make for a cleaner engine bay.

http://www.ls1howto.com has a write up on the mod.

Thanks for the replies fellas. The AMW looks like a nice piece. Think I`ll give them a call Monday.

Good luck. The LS6 system didn't do squat for my friend's 02 Firehawk. He ended up getting a catch can. He catches a good amount of oil with it and this IS through the LS6 pcv system.

I have an LS6 pcv and it still consumes oil. I ordered an AMW catch can.

I mounted mine to the side of the inner fender, passenger side, just below where those A/C lines head to the radiator. Easy install with a drill.

I've had AMW, Greddy, and some generic catch-cans, the AMW is the best by far.

Question

Is there anything you need for the install of the AMW besides what it comes with? (i.e. hose clamps, fittings, adapters)

A drill

I really didn't necessary like their clamps, so I bought some different ones. But just my preference.
