Default question about x pipe..

Does an x pipe ever truly come into one p ipe like the H does?? Reason I'm asking is I just bought an electric cut out and realized once I looked that it wouldn't work.. I believe I can still make it work if so by just cutting a hole in the x and rigging it like that, if not, uh oh.

No, most are essentially two u-bends cut and welded together; I haven't seen any x-pipe where the center of the merge is the same outer diameter as the rest of the exhaust. Not really any way to cut an x-pipe and put a cutout in without completely borking it.

Yeah, I remember seeing that thread...those were some ugly x-pipes.

If it's like the old set of Lane's duals I have, it won't work. You'll either need a second cutout to go on the other side before the x-pipe, or sell the cutout you have.
