doing motor mounts with headers in car

update number 2.
Monday night i attacked the passenger side motor mount.
Had to remove the starter, the ac compressor, the compressor mounting bracket, unbolted the pedestal all the way.
Bolted mount to motor, put pedestal in with two bolts about a quarter the way in.
got motor mount bolt through. bolted everything back together nice and tight.
From start to finish removal and replacement of the start and a/c along with putting belts back on. The passenger side took me about 3.5 hours.
Both sides are now completely done all i gotta do now is put the hooker cat back in and fix the off road y-pipe and it is all done for now

Glad to hear you got it done. I did the same on my car - headers in place, added poly mounts. Didn't go too bad. Little tight on the drivers side, but got thru it. Made a big difference, as the old stock mounts were pretty well shot.
