Default Catback placement after header install

This may be a dumb question but after as much time as iv spent under the car I have to ask. I just installed my 408 and tsp headers and y and now my catback seems to sit at least an inch back further and I have a cme and it was originally welded in place were I wanted it on the old set up. It's driving me nuts having the tips stick out as far as they do but is there a way to adjust it back wards or do I need to take it to an exhaust shop and have them cut and weld it back? Doesn't look like there's a way to move it so I may have answered my own question but thanks in advance for any help.
