I have a 2002 5.3 which LS1 serpentine kit will work best with what i have?
So im swapping in a 02 truck 5.3(or might be a 4.8) in my 67 Camaro
heres basically what I have.. i want to use the most of what I have but still want the relocated vette style low alternator look.. rather than this periscope truck alternator.
the camaro wont have AC and its questionable if I will run powersteering..
which kit is best?
ive been looking at these..
http://paceperformance.com/i-9609159...drive-kit.html
and
http://paceperformance.com/i-6485405...7-engines.html
and
http://paceperformance.com/i-9609165...drive-kit.html
im not sure which one I can use and still keep the waterpump and harmonic balancer I have.. which is the stock truck one..
what do you guys recommend?
thank you very much!!!

I cant tell from the picture, but do you have room for the F-body alternator mount, that locates it off to the drivers side of the crank pulley?
Depending on what setup you go with, will dictate which balancer and water pump you need. The trucks, vettes, and f-body all have different balancers, and I believe there is some variation between the water pumps.
BTW, try posting this in the swap forum, Im sure youll get better responses.

If you are using the truck balancer it is measured at 4.5” from the front of the block to the rear edge of the main drive belt. None of the other accessory kits from GM have this type of spacing. Vette, CTS have 3”, a 4th gen F body has a 4” gap and the new Camaro has a 4.75” spacing. That being said you should be able to use your truck balancer, water pump and tensioner with a 4th Gen Camaro alternator bracket and a spacer at the block to get the alignment right.
