MAF code...help
MAF code...help Hello everyone, my car bangs when shifts from P to D and has a slight hard shifting at any gear...it shifts fine to R and only does it in D...my friend took it and scanned it..it showed DTC code for the MAF sensor..dont know the exact code number but it was low voltage? not sure though...i cleared the codes, now it shifts fine but i can still feel something isnt right..it has a slight misfiring feel but no misfire codes and RPM is steady...i thought i clean MAF first and then buy a used one if it didnt fix it...do i get stock replacement or the SLP while am at it? thanks everyone.
PS. i checked the U joints and tranny mounts..they looked fine. tips are welcomed. thanks.

Stock replacment. OE prefered as the delco's are crap and you'll change it every 3 months until you cave and buy the OE unit. I don't believe in A/M ones either... flow is flow and the GM one is a quality part. Sounds like the MAF is done and replacing it would be my suggestion here. Before you do though, you should test the lead to the MAF and ensure that the issue is actually MAF, not the wiring and/or connector
To add, I see K&N in your mod list.... replace it with a quality filter, a DRY filter. Those K&N's are ok if you run an SD tune but I would never in a million years run one with a MAF on the car, just my 2 cnts there bud
