well cam is bigger than i thought.. its the V2 so its

235/240 .643/.609 111+1

i might just run an LS6 or a ported LS2 but id be interested in the BBK intake but you can never get any good info from them since theres always the ls6 gods that come in and bash it due to heat soak

With where you are going to be spinning it to a vic jr will actually hurt power not help,a used ls6 will do you more than fine,i dont know about the ported ls2s but i will say stick with the ls6 for a lil over 300 it is the best bang for the buck, the bbk isnt bad, and that whole heat soak thing can be argued for days, personally i have seen people run it and have good luck with it,and the so called heat soak never gave them issues, one thing about tech is ya really have to listen to people that have had experience with things, there is so many that will bash things just from what they have read, thats how alot of bad info gets spread, you can get alot of good info on this site but the more research ya do,will save ya money and headaches in the long run

ok so i have an even stupider question but im not going to make another thread for this...

it will be a little bit before i do my heads and an intake..

is it having too high of expectations to hope for 400+ wheel with an ls1 intake?

only reason im trying is someone told me it was impossible N/A and i wanna try

my cam makes peak power around 6200 so im not running it too high. heres a dyno graph on a stock ls2 ls2. i know its a completely diff motor but the ls2 intake is supposed to flow like the ls1 on to end

I have a ls6 with ported tb with the SI6 cam. The ls6 intake works damn good with my set up. The car made 400 on a mustang dyno with mods in sig. Stock 243 heads. Like others said, paint it. I had a friend paint mine at a body shop for free! It looks awesome. You will be very happy with the ls6 intake.

The only thing that looks really "dope" to me under our hoods would be one of those Katech, or Harrop ALL carbon fiber, ITB intakes with carbon fiber plenums on top of the stacks.

Short of that, I just do not care how anything actually "looks".

IMO, if you're upgrading from the LS1 intake then the BBK SSI w/85-90mm TB will give you more power than a LS6 intake, but it is quite a bit heavier than the LS6.
