Replacing Alternator Belt on LS1

Hey all,

My alternator belt just went out on my Camaro...I heard all you need is a 15mm socket/ratchet to move the tensioner..then put the belt on...can anyone verify that? Or does anyone have any details/tips on how to replace it?

Also is the tensioner the one on the top in this pic?

Any details would be appreciated....

Yes, the tensioner is a 15mm. Is that a pic of your Camaro? How did the alternator get up there?

From that angle, it doesn't even look like his hood would close.
