Magnaflow vs Dynomax Bullet 4"
Right now I've got a 4" dyonmax bullet dumped at the rear with dummy tips. I need it quieter. Will going to a Magnaflow bullet instead of the dynomax make it any bit quieter? I know its not going to make it stock sounding but I need it toned down enough so I can throw the clutch in and squeeze by cops. Right now I can't. I've also considered trying to go over the rearend with a 4" and then adding a muffler on the other side kind of in the stock position but noone around here bends 4" pipe. Does anyone know about what degree bends I would need to go over the axle? I've got a 4ft stick of 4" piping all ready.

A Magnaflow #12867($100 shipped) will tone it down a noticeable amount.
Now as far as what degree bends you'll need Most of the angles I've seen are: 1ea 60*at the end of I-pipe then 1ea 90*(over the axle tube) followed by 1ea 30* before the PHB support then 1ea 90* after the PHB support to go into the muffler inlet.

That magnaflow muffler will quiet it down a bunch! I have two on an open exhaust and it sounds a little louder then stock at idle. I can drive aggressively around cops on my setup so I'd assume it's not that loud...

Dynomax VT
You may want to check out a Dynomax VT(valve technology) if you have the space. I have one and at Idle and cruise it almost sounds stock but at WOT it's straight thru. Good Luck
