SLP Dual Dual to Adjustable Borla
But anyways got around to finally upgrading the exhaust, and while the SLP dual dual is clamped so it should have been a quick swap, the u clamps had crimped the pipes making it damn near impossible to separate the I pipe from the over the axle pipe.
Ended up sawzalling(sp?) the over the axle pipe and then it was smooth sailing from there.
The exhaust is adjustable as you all know and the main reason I upgraded was for sound, so i left the exhaust open. From the first start up it was instantly gratifying, deep and throating but not obnoxious.
hitting the 2K-3K rpm range is like heaven to your ears. At WOT it is loud and aggressive.
At idle ive gotten about three complaints since friday, mind you that is more than ive gotten in the whole time owning my car in regards to the exhaust sound.
With a little neverdull and polish the exhaust is shining and stands out, but not out of place and is mounted in the same location hanging wise as the Dual Dual.
Overall the exhaust is exactly what ive been missing, and it sounds great. The install would have went much quicker if i would not have tried everyway possible to not cut the over the axle pipe, and instead just cut it off the bat.
