Both are great headers man, but knowing how long Hooker headers have been around and have proved that they make some of the bestest headers out there I would choose Hookers over Pacesetters.

Either of these headers is popular with our customers. Pacesetter and Hooker headers share some similar features – 1 3/4 in. primary tubes, 16 gauge tubes, 3in. collectors and they are shipped with bolts/ gaskets. Pacesetter has a 3/8 flange vs. the Hooker’s 5/16 flange where it meets the head which is the only major difference. You can easily connect to your exhaust using the available Y pipe available from Hooker or Pacesetter. If you find any of the part numbers cheaper we do price match if you phone in your order. Let us know if you need any more help.

Did you look at the TSP stainless headers? For 100 bucks more you never have to worry about rust...

That's what I was going to say. How much are the Hookers and Pacesetters setting you back?

We all pinch pennies brother, or we wouldn't be driving F-Bodies

I just hate seeing folks spend money twice in the long run.

I agree. Save for some stainless if you can. I think the quality on my ceramic coated hookers is pretty good but its not likely you will have any problems except for rusting like mentioned above.

Just wait and save for TSP 1-7/8"s. I really can't understand why anyone would put steel headers on anything these days. Either that or go ebay stainless.
