Newb Question Quick, dumb question..I'm looking at aftermarket catbacks for my 2000 Z28. Will installing one cause any kind of check engine light, or do most have bungs for the o2 sensors? Yes, I've searched and read the stickies.
There's no catback known to man that will throw a CEL, since all the emissions stuffs are upwind of the catback. Hell, you could hack the entire muffler off if you wanted and it wouldn't disturb a thing.

Unless the lt's are emissions correct as are mine. Unfortunately Massachusetts has a visual inspection as well as the emissions testing. Most places don't do the visual other than the normal safety stuff up here anyways like ball joints, wheel bearings, etc.
