ARCO gas = dog shit
ARCO gas = dog **** Maybe its just me but i don't think so... I only run Shell or chevron in all my LS powered toys. Well the other day i went to fill up my wife's because it was dead empty (i mean empty). I drove to my usual shell gas station just to find out the pumps are down for regular maintenance. I look up the street and see an ARCO. So i limp along up the street to the ARCO. I fill the tank up with 91 octane (premium fuel here in ca) and almost immediately i get detonation. Long story shot i drain all the ARCO out fill it back up with Shell Premium and no more detonation. Hey BP (British Petroleum) **** YOU!!!
There's a reason why it's .20-.40 cents less than other companies. There was a quality test done on Arco gas here in Oregon a few years back. There was a large build-up of leaves and other sediments found in the gas. I never run Arco though my Bird.
