OUCH....im sorry to hear that man....
they recently redid the road i drive 15 miles to school on everyday...for 2 months i had to drive my jeep because taking the Z down this road would have been suicide (the manholes were sticking up THREE solid inches). as it is i saw people bending rims and shooting sparks out of their car everyday on the way to my classes.
between my longtubes (which as was said, surprisingly tuck up pretty nicely), my wheels and my trans pan (BBK THREE quart + with fins on the bottom), i would have broken more things then i want to think about on this stupid road. the worst part is for some reason, once you get into queens, there are manholes every 30-40 feet for a mile at a time!!!!
good luck with fixing up the car man.
