Temp sending unit question..
Temp sending unit question.. So im about done putting my LS1 back in my car (all the major work is done anyway) and im hooking my wires up before i move to the fuel injectors and coils. I cant locate the wire that plugs into the temp sending unit behind the header on the passenger side of the car. Can anyone tell me what side of the harness this should be coming out of? Im really hoping I can find it and its not somehow between the motor and trans since i pulled the motor from the top and left the trans in...
Hmm. Is it possible you installed the temp sender where the plug goes and vice versa? As far as I know, temp sender on an ls1 is front drivers side. The electrical plug comes off near where the maf branches off...at least it does on an 02. Back passengers side is just a plug in the port.
