They are similar to ebay headers yes. Different manufactures out of China however. The nice part is we can test fit, modify, and make any changes as needed for each batch. Instead of crossing fingers on quality, were hoping to crack down on it. And, still hopefully keep pricing down.

Just a heads up, I think tsp's true dual system is also made off shores. I could be wrong, know for sure the headers are though.

These headers are 259.99 (which I firmly believe, as the pics represent, are an "eBay" header)

But back on point, you show me where on God's green earth you can get a stainless header that's American made for 359.99.

Also, that Y pipe looks IDENTICAL to the TSP Y. But yes and agreed with Speed, we all know the TSP stuff is Chinese.

Looks good. I was planning on going with eBay headers, but this seems to be a nicer alternative with less of a risk.

 

I have the cheap eBay headers on my car and there's two major issues with them. First is the driver side collector angles up so high that the Y-pipe is slammed against the floorpan. I had to put a piece of heater hose between the pipe and the floor to keep it from vibrating the car. Second problem is the 02 sensor bungs are welded on the wrong side of the collector, making it a PITA to install the 02 sensors.

If these headers don't have the same issues then they're a great deal for sure.

 

The quality control is tough to knock out with them. Were trying to crack down on it as best we can. Most of the headers fit no problem. Some have to notch about a quarter inch on the tab of the K-Member, which usually isn't to big of a deal. And anything that is worse than that we are either sending new sets out, or having them returned/refunding the money. Were trying to make everything as legit as possibly for everyone. That way no one is getting screwed, and you guys still get a good header and an affordable price.

The cheapest stainless steel headers listed at Summit is from Hooker, and they'll set you back $580, which, according to my old math, is $320 more than the headers discussed here.

I'm all for buying US-made products, could you share with us what US made stainless headers can be had for $360?

 

And if you read both posts I made I specifically said I said nothing about the headers I plan to go with being stainless,all I said was I would pay 100 bucks more for an American made header not an American made stainless header, if you want to quote and question me be sure to read all my posts before doing so. The way it was typed, and considering this thread was about stainless headers, I'm sure you can see where it looked like you swallowed your foot.

 

Hard to say really. We have 50 sets on the shelf at the moment, and will need to get through half of those, before we even submit an order for more. At that time they usually take about a month to a month and a half before we would have them to our shop. If some of you are interested we can always cut the air/egr tubes off the current ones, and tig weld some type of small plate on them. Wont be as clean looking, but at least you wouldn't have the large tubes hanging off.

As for the catted Y-Pipe, there are no plans at the moment to make any batches. I would just pick up the TSP Y-Pipe from us or them. They seem to work.

Incredibly refreshing to not only see another vendor offer another vendor's product, but also willing to go that "axtra mile" by cutting the emissions fittings off ahead of time.

For the extra $95 that these cost over Ebay headers ($260+$15 shipping vs. $180+ free shipping) I don't think it would be to much to ask for you to build a test fixture and check each pair yourselves before shipping them. Because having to wait for a new set of headers because you got a bad set would majorly suck when you car is completely torn apart up on a set of jack stands.

 

A tubular k member would take the k member problem out of the picture.

A 1 7/8 stainless version that doesntt have any issues besides the k member would have my attention.
