Default Will this oil pan work?

the 6.0L i bought had a broken rod which went through the pan. I just need to know if this oil pan will work: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/na...3/media/images

my only concern is i do not see a place for the sensor, and it just doesnt look the same like the bottom part of the stock oil pan looks longer. Im having trouble uploading a photo so i hope you guys understand what i mean.

If it's the GM "hot rod" swap pan for early vehicles with LSX then it does not have a provision for oil level sensor. 5.5qt. capacity? looks like the very same one I am using for LS to Mustang swap. There is a full description of it in the oil pan sticky, take a look.

I believe that you should be able to use an LS1 pan with the motor if it is an LQ4/9 6.0

Someone correct me if I am mistaken.

Any oil pan made for the Gen 3/4 motors will work on any motor, LS1,2,3,6, LQ4,9, etc. But they wont fit every car, ie crossmember, steering clearance. They are also different depths. Check out the oil pan sticky in the conversions forum for dimensions.

You will probably need to clearance the tray some for the #1 rod as I believe in most cases the bolt head at least will make contact.
