There is free ram air (FRA), throttle body(TB) coolant bypass, EGR mod, porting the TB, making sure the TB butterfly opens all the way. I think there might be a few more but I am brain locking right now.

are they worth doing?

And how do you like ur 2800 yank.

I was thinking about a tq/c but i dont want to ruin streetibility, and lose throttle response for better 1/4 times. Was thinking about changing gears, but dont know what to change to, i wanna improve accellertaion and throttle response.

You might loose some throttle response but you will definitely gain acceleration. I like the 2800. If I go any bigger it would be a 3500 at the most. I would recommend getting a torque converter. It will give you the most bang for the buck.

Is it possible to increase throttle response, 0-60, and 1/4 with new gears for an 00 Z-28 A4?

Yes, lower ratio gears will improve both response and 1/4 mile times.

What gears do you have? The standard 2.73 or the "performance axle" 3.23's? I have 3.23's or else I would have already swapped the stupidly high (IMO) 2.73 for a set of 3.73

I wouldn't go above 3.73 unless you are going to go to the track a lot. 3.23 is a good all around gear. Get a converter. You will be very happy.
