Default kooks headers question

i have a set on my 2001 camaro and a friend wants to buy them off of me, and i would just upgrade to the 1 7/8 for the cam im getting. but he has a 2000 does it make a difference from the 2001 vs the 2000? when i bought them there were options for each year car. not sure what the difference could be so i though i would ask.

I would call Kooks if I were you but I don't think there's any difference between the 2 cars that would affect the header fitment.

Only difference would be if he were trying to keep egr and air.

The only difference is the egr placement. If you delete the egr it wont make a difference. I have a 99ss(with deleted egr) and I installed 2001 up hooker headers on mine. So tell him to delete the egr, buy the egr block off plates or get the holes welded. Why would you sell them? Kooks are the top of the line, you can't get any better! 1 3/4 will be just fine with a 3inch exhaust for heads and cam swap.

Ya they are the same minus the emissions ports so no issues. You will gain from 1-7/8" even stock cars do. 1-7/8" are always worth it my guess is after you sell those you wont have to put much more in to get a 1-7/8 set
