Default White Smoke and issues after plug install.

I put a set of BR7EF plugs in my 02 SS a week ago in prep. for doing a nitrous system.

Since the swap, I have noticed a light stumble and white smoke out of my exhaust pipes.

I checked the plug wires and they seem to be on tight, but I dont know if i damaged one taking them off. They where on tight as hell and I had to pull full force to get them off.

The plugs out of the box where pregapped really tight, like almost closed but i opened them up to .035.

Any inuput on what might be wrong here would be great.

Did you bump/damage engine coolant temp sensor? If it's damaged, the PCM will default to below freezing temp & add a ton of fuel.

Well just so you know you shouldn't over torque spark plugs. You may have damaged them

I admittedly didnt use a tq wrench to put the plugs in. I just turned them to snug then gave them another 1/4 turn at most.

Well if they are just snug with a 1/4 turn or so you should be fine. The way you described it before gave me the impression that you torqued the hell out of them lol

White smoke is a high amount of fuel indicator. So, I'd keep looking. Could be a bad plug, bad coil, wire...Check for spark @ each location w/ engine running.

Ok, so along with the white smoke, there was a good amount of water coming out the exhaust pipes. I checked the valve cover and no milkshake. Checked the coolant and it looked good. The water out the tailpipe only smelled like the coating that was burning from the headers...

Anyways, my neighbor mentioned the fact that I only work a 1/2 mile from my house and that I might just be building a lot of condensation from all those short trips and not really letting it get to full running temp.

So, last night I took it for a good 30 min drive and really drove the crap out of it. Came home and no more smoke, and no water coming out.

Could this have simply been condensation build up from those short < 2 minute drives?

Well if you were literally only driving like a few mins here and there and that's it, then yes that could've been a big factor

I was, and I think driving the **** out of it last night, cleared up the smoke issue. Didnt notice as much of a stumble, could that same thing cause light stumble issues?

Stumble could have been related to the unplugged temp switch & the fuel dump it caused. After the excess was gone, stumble quit.
