Default sputtering while driving after heads and ca?

just did a tsp v3 cam and prc 2.5 heads, car has been running great the past couple days but lately when im cruising the car will start to hesitate and sputter and the check engine will flash? i checked my plugs and wires and they seem ok, im also running the stock injectors for now untili have my tuner swap to my 42# injectors but im not sure if the stock injectors may not be supplying enough gas and that might be causing it to sputter?

Is the car tuned for the heads and cam? Is it hesitating and sputtering under hard load or light driving or what?

car is not tuned yet, it is sputtering randomly regardless of weather or not im going hard or light driving, for example i just drove it for about 30 miles and had no issues but earlier in the day it did it twice when i was cruising.

Well not being tuned with something as major as new heads and a cam could very well be the issue. You are changing the whole dynamics and compression of the engine at that point

i agree with you, i just wasnt sure if the problem was because of that stuff or if it was a separate problem like i said it drives just fine 1 min then it will randomly sputter.

Yeah, you have to get it tuned. A flashing SES light normally indicates a misfire which is common when you upgrade the cam and will occur until you get it tuned. Whatever you do, do not go WOT until the car is tuned.

Well it could also be something else (who knows) but you definitely should start with a good tune since that's like it

Here's and update, I hooked a scanner up and am getting p0300 obviously because of the cam but I'm also getting p0131 for bank 1 sensor 2 low voltage. Should I just replace the sensor or where else should I start? The car does misfire so that's why I'm leaning towards just replacing the sensor

I don't wanna end up going to the dyno and find out I can't have it tuned cause something else is wrong. This car should not be physically misfiring something is up

my question is at this point is if that p0131 code can cause a misfiring?

Symptoms

Check Engine Light will illuminate
Vehicle may idle or run rough
Decrease in fuel Eeconomy because PCM is in a "limp home" mode
Engine dies
In some unusual cases, there are no adverse conditions noticed by the driver

My car threw the same codes. Cam is making the car think it is misfiring. Get it tuned. Bring a extra set of plugs and 02s if you want to feel better at the dyno.

You really need to listen to everyone's advice and get the car tuned. You have heads, cam and a stall/without a tune and still riding around. Your pcm is having a fit trying to figure out what to do.

You sure will have if you keep driving it like that!
Are trying to 'bed in' 'break in' 'run in' your stall? What for!! like diff gears, once installed correctly, drive it like you stole it.

Why were you doing wot pulls on an untuned H/C install anyway.

You don't have enough power going on to damage a stall, obviously it was faulty in the first place.
